Basic Transfer Service (minimal restoration)
The record to CD transfer process:
- gently clean all record surfaces prior to playing
- transfer the music to computer utilizing quality equipment
- run all music tracks through a noise and click pop remover
- transfer the front and back album art work to the CD case
- transfer the music to CD as separate tracks
Our Basic Transfer Service is ideal if you have good quality recordings with only a few defects such as clicks and pops or surface noise. Our filtering process usually eliminates most of these defects, but may not remove them all. Therefore, if you have very noisy recordings or would like as many defects fixed as possible, you should use our Premium Transfer Service.

Premium Transfer Service (full restoration)
The record to CD transfer process:
- gently clean all record surfaces prior to playing
- transfer the music to computer utilizing quality equipment
- run all music tracks through a noise and click pop remover
- check each track by ear and manually remove defects
- transfer the front and back album art work to the CD case
- transfer the music to CD as separate tracks
Our Premium Transfer Service is ideal if you have poor quality recordings with more than a few defects such as clicks and pops or surface noise. Our filtering process eliminates most of these defects. However, in order to remove the maximum amount of noise, we actually listen to each and every song cut, and manually filter as we go. The final result is a near perfect CD copy.
